Extreme Solid Core Upgrade

The sturdy construction of the Forté Extreme solid core is achieved by enclosing a conventional foam core with horizontal wooden plinths between two thin aluminium sheets and exterior-grade plywood. It is covered with a 4mm GRP covering that is extremely durable.

Upgrade to our most advanced Forté Solid Core door for improved thermal efficiency and security. Tests have shown that our core and the Extreme locking mechanism fulfil the police-recognised ‘Secure by Design’ criteria.

Forte Door Cut Away

In contrast to your average composite door, a Forte solid core door is made of exterior-grade plywood, two thin aluminium sheets, and a traditional foam core enclosed by horizontal hardwood plinths. This kind of layering provides superior protection against infiltration, allowing you to sleep at night without worrying about the security of your house.

It comes fitted with an “Auto-Engage” locking system, meaning that the locking mechanism instantly engages when the door is closed. Additionally, the door boasts extremely powerful compression, eliminating drafts and reinforcing its security credentials.

Two aluminium sheets are compressed between PIR foam and HDF plywood layers to give the solid core more rigidity and stability. Its design combines modern and classic architectural aspects to create a heavier, stronger, and more durable door.

An Extreme Solid Core door will stand out from other doors on your street no matter what colour it’s finished in. Traditionalists and modernists will both be happy with the colour palette for the range as there are very vibrant shades included, alongside more muted tones. We have purposely tried to create colours that suit the many styles in the collection so that every Solid Core door we install makes a big and lasting impression.

The door and door frame can be colour coordinated...

On selected finishes, you can have a single colour adorning the door and its accompanying frame for cohesiveness throughout. Doing so will bring the architectural styling of both Forté and the surrounding brickwork right to the fore.

Any of RMC’s advisors will highlight which of the standard colours can be utilised to create this effect. You may well reach the conclusion that differing finishes between the door and door frame is the most befitting option and we will happily cater for that.

The Monza II Door has had 6 exclusive patina colours specifically formulated for it...

It seemed only right to produce a dedicated colour palette for Monza II as it is a masterfully designed door. The six handcrafted hues are one-off finishes and have subtle remnants of beloved colours.

The base colour is infused with a patina stain to magnify the etched and modern slab detailing and woodgrain effect of the Monza II.
