Take that next step and try triple glazing…
To look at them, there is nothing noticeably different about a double glazed and triple glazed window. What you can’t see is that a triple glazed window has an extra pane of glass, which helps to make it 60% more energy efficient than a standard ‘C’ rated double glazed window.
Triple glazing will fuel a huge reduction in your energy bills, paying for themselves over time. No matter what window style you like, we can package it up into a triple glazed unit, a decision that you won’t come to regret.
40% more thermally efficient than a standard A-rated double glazed window...
Even the best A-rated windows pale in comparison to triple glazed windows when it comes to thermal efficiency. You won’t experience any heat as the soft coat glass that’s in a triple glazed window will keep the heat produced by your boiler firmly trapped inside your house.
Energy isn’t getting any cheaper, but you won’t have to be overly concerned about that when you have triple glazed fitted. We build our triple glazed windows with a UPVC material, making them super-strong and forever reliable.
Your heating can take more of a backseat as triple glazing will brilliantly insulate…
The savings you make during the expected lifespan of triple glazed windows will be considerable and that’s with lower heater usage. For long periods of the year, your boiler system won’t need to be on as triple glazing will do the job of keeping your space feeling comfortable, using the heat from the sun as and when it’s needed.
Try not to focus on the initial cost of buying new triple glazed windows and instead concentrate on how much you will save because of them in the long-term. Any future energy price rises will have less of an impact on you if triple glazing is insulating your house.
Cold spots and draughts will be eradicated because of the presence of triple glazing…
In any type of weather conditions, triple glazing will still manage to keep your home interior at a comfortable temperature. You won’t feel the cold coming in ever again and it will make for a more pleasant home environment.
You will also be left with a greener home, one that has very little reliance on fossil fuels and has a smaller carbon footprint than most. Knowing that you are contributing to preserving the planet should give you a sense of pride and will demonstrate that you are a responsible and considerate homeowner.
It’s much harder to break a triple glazed window with three panes of glass to get through…
That third pane of glass makes such a difference and hugely minimises the risk of your house being broken into. So that none of the glass panes can be removed from the outside of your property, we internally glaze them, and we also incorporate a multi-point locking mechanism into our replacement windows to keep them fixed shut when locked.
You won’t need to have any worries about leaving your home unoccupied as we can assure you that our triple glazed windows will look after it. Burglars can try every trick they know, but they won’t get past our windows.
PERSONALISE YOUR TRIPLE GLAZING
Selecting a window style is just the start. You then need to customise the design and can do so with one of our many coloured finishes, glazing options and hardware. Get familiarised with all the possibilities first.
A spectacular array of finishes…
You associate UPVC windows with a traditional white colour, but nowadays, they can be produced in woodgrains, like Light Oak and Rosewood, and vintage colours, such as Olive Grey and Chartwell Green. Always fancied having some red-coloured windows? We can cater for that too. Ask our window specialists to show you the full colour palette to help you pick out a finish you love the most.
Our aluminium finishes are so impressive, and they won’t fade over time…
Only at RMC do you get powder-coated aluminium window finishes that require 11 stages to perfect. When we adhere to this powder-coating process, it causes strong paint adhesions to be induced and makes the finish feel as good as it looks. Sublimation is the technique employed by RMC for those customers who want an aluminium woodgrain. Available in Walnut, Rosewood and Oak, it makes our aluminium windows look more like timber windows.
A blend of privacy and style…
Whether your new windows live up to your expectations will depend on your choice of glass. Thankfully, the Extreme range comes with a wealth of dependable glazing options. They include our ultimate privacy glazing and clear glazing, with the latter of the two giving you flawless visibility. It’s always worth discussing our range of glazing choices with an RMC consultant before you commit to anything.
Privacy Glazing – Because of the positioning of some rooms, it may be helpful to have privacy glazing included in your new windows to obscure them from view. You will still get light coming through the glass, which is available in double and triple glazed units.
Crafted with love…
You can only marvel at the detail in our traditional and contemporary handles, the handiwork of our fantastic craftspeople. Just the look of them entices you to want to feel them, which you’ll find yourself doing regularly.
Each handle has a secure locking system inside of it, a mechanism that keeps the windows secure when locked.
